Carlier Camp.
As many of you know I won the Jerry Springer Singer Contest so I thought I should do a gig to show my appreciation for all of you who voted for me.
We are going to be playing at a very cool venue started by Eddie White called Awendaw Green.
The Show will be Saturday August 29th and we will start around 7:30. Awendaw Green is family friendly so feel free to bring your kids. You can buy food and beverages there so no coolers. Part of the precedes will go to the "Geoff Turner Scholarship Program" that I am involved with. It provides music lessons to kids that cannot afford to take them. So it will be a good time for a good cause.
I will be performing with my usual partners in crime Matt Walker [cello and vocals] Carol O'Quinn [vocals] Chuck McCormick [drums] and Jay Miley [bass].
You may get tickets in advance [$15] at my store "Carlier's School of Guitar and Music" 843-884-2907. You may get directions to the venue by going to www.awendawgreen.com
This will be the only show [more then likely] for this year locally so try to come on out. We will be performing cuts off all our CDs as well as new songs off a new CD I hope to have out before I am too old to play a gig. We are going to shoot for a live DVD as well. And of course I will be performing "I'm Going on the Jerry Springer Show" So come on out and be part of the event.
